Quick Start for Making Response Time Measurement (RTM) Monitoring Phone Calls

Welcome to the PhoneNumberMonitoring Quick Start Guide. In this article we will walk you through the process of making Response Time Measurements phone calls.

First, you need to sign up for the service and login into the PNM account. Once you are logged in, follow the steps listed below:

1. In the Add New Plan window, select Response Time Measurements (the Monitoring Plans tab, the New Plan button).

2. Configure the Call Plan:

  • Provide a unique name for the plan.
  • Select the Country and specify the phone number you want to monitor.
  • Select Time Zone.
  • Optional: Turn on the Record Call option.

3. Specify the Expected Call Response for the end user identification.

4. Build an RTM chain using the Call Wizard options:

  • Optional: Delay – enter the delay time in seconds to wait for recordings, announcements.
  • Optional: Send Digits – enter digits for extensions or responses to call path (e.g. press 1 for sales).
  • Play File – select at least one audio file for audio response to call path, call information and instructions. You can select a prerecorded file. Or click New Audio File and either download a file, enter text for text-to-voice file or record your own audio over the phone.

5. Click Next Step and select a preconfigured call schedule if exists or add a New Schedule:

  • Specify a schedule name.
  • Set call times.
  • Optional: Chose a call frequency.
  • Optional: Specify a first call date.
  • Optional: Select the end date and any exclusion dates.
  • Optional: Specify holidays to exclude from the call schedule.

6. Click Next Step and adjust the Alert If setting if necessary. When at least one trigger event is selected, at least one Alert Group must be specified. Either select a preconfigured one if exists or click New group, set up a new group settings and add it to the plan.

7. Optional: Create and add a new alert template to receive customized notification messages. Otherwise a default notifications will be sent.

8. Click Next Step, review the plan summary and click Activate Now to activate the plan.
